Bill Applegate, Guitarist, is versed both as a performer and a teacher in many Guitar styles including Jazz, Classical, Rock and Country. He completed his Bachelor of Music Degree from The University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1982. He has studied with some world renowned Guitar Teachers including Ricardo  Iznaola, Billie Rogers and Fred Hamilton. After teaching K-12 Music for two years, he joined the U.S. Air Force Band. While in the Air Force Band he performed as a soloist and with many different Groups and Ensembles including Wild Blue Country, Night Wing (Pop/Rock Group), the Air Force Academy Concert Band, and The Falconaires Jazz Band. After 23 years in the Air Force he retired in 2006.  During his career he has had the opportunity to perform with prominent musicians and entertainers in the music business including; Phil Woods, Clark Terry, Charlie Byrd, Bill Monroe, Mickey Gilley, Tommy Tedesco, Reba McEntire, Louise Mandrell, Gene Bertoncini, Sammy Nestico, Fred Newell (Nashville Studio Guitarist), and Bill Anderson. He has also had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall and at the Grand Ole Opry and for many world leaders including President Clinton, President Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair. Recently Bill has completed a Master’s degree in Jazz Guitar Performance at the University of North Texas.  Currently he is teaching K-8 music at Legacy Traditional School in Casa Grande.
